The local Filth

Very rare to see them on the beat at all…

Very rare to see them on the beat at all…

No need for a x12 zoom camera, when I have a balcony, binoculars and an idea
So here’s what I’ve been working on over past couple of weeks, intro to Special Features:

…from sunrise to sungone…

Woah, this week has been a stress fest. Pretty much since my birthday last week I’ve been working on this project for C4, a New Zealand TV channel. The show is named “Special Features” and actually aired last night. A live show, an hour long, they asked bunker media who contracted me to design and produce all the animations/intro/links etc of the show. It’s been so hectic, but such a great opportunity, and now my work can we viewed by a possible 4million New Zealanders. Not bad for the CV.
I had about 8 hours sleep over 3days, and after the show aired on Thursday night, I slept for 16 hours straight. There’s a few changes to be made, but overall they are really happy, and I’ve learnt a lot in such a short time.
However, it’s meant Ive been totally cut off from the outside, not even been down the pub for a drink let alone see any of the country (and hence lack of updates) Working all this weekend (changes that need to be made to animations), but I’m going to try and do another day trip next week (I’m going stir-crazy sitting infront of a computer screen). This has meant I’ve be giving a lot of thought on what I’m going to do after these 6 months at the flat are finished, and what direction I want to take in life. Travel, settle down in New Zealand, a career in what? Thinking about it too much!
I’ll get the 20 second intro and a few of the other animations uploaded to happymedium for you all to check out. Also have something planned for Google Earth so make sure you have it downloaded, and a virtual tour of my pad.
