To celebrate Luke’s and mine Birthdays, we traveled up the coast from Auckland to Omaha beach, where Luke’s partner Nikki has a family Bach (holiday home)
Although a fairly rainy/windswept weekend, it was great to get out of the city and spend some time with friends. Besides hanging out playing poker and watching the All Blacks beat the Ozzies, we walked along Omaha Beach and managed to see Dolphins swim by. We went to a local food market, and on the Sunday a really great vineyard/restaurant called Heron’s Flight. Dad – they do some very nice Pinot Noir which you can buy online here . On the Sunday I had a swim, spa and sauna. Chilled out….

Immigration stuff on Friday – had to go for a medical check-up, which included blood and x-ray tests. All good though – apart from waiting on the results to the blood test, I’m in great health – body mass index, pulse rate, waist length, no problems on the x-ray. Just trying to get everything rushed in now as they’ve decided to nearly double the fee from $800 to $1400 by this weekend…

Been very busy these past couple of weeks, more C4 stuff. First one up is all stop motion, 250 odd frames…
