NZ PM

Ok, no photos to prove it (might be able to find a blurry phone cam shot), but saw the prime minister in the flesh the other day. Went to the NZ Apra Scroll Awards, which is an award ceremony for the new Zealand Music writers. We did a load of the motion graphics for them, Luke shot some stuff, and Gerrard was invited to fill his mouth with free food (we sat in the un-fed rafters). Helen Clarke PM, turned up to present the final award.

Just finished shooting a new music video tonight, it’s about 4am. I’ll get some photos up as soon as, here is a little teaser

Waiheke Island

It’s been a real busy month, plenty of work and pretty much saving up for the 2nd NZ tour when Mum and Bro come out in November. Took a break from it all this Saturday, as it was a beautiful day Chris and I headed out to Waiheke Island in the Hauraki Gulf – about 30mins ferry ride from Auckland. The climate is slightly warmer than Auckland with less humidity and rain and more sunshine hours

I came out here with Dad at the end of the 3 week tour back in January, and ended up heading to the same beach (Onetangi) and also to Palm Beach where we had a swim in the freezing sea. Planning to come back in the Summer, and to bring a bike and tent…
