So for easter weekend headed out west to the famous Piha. This is the home of Surfing in New Zealand, as a result of its notorious rips and currents. It can be very dangerous and the beach boasts two lifeguard groups (either side of Lion Rock).
This weekend I checked out a recently painted wall by a friend of mine Enforce One and his crew Cut Collective.
From the wall in Ponsonby headed down to Western Park where they were doing a live painting as part of a party in the park run by Base Fm.
Great weather, great art, great day
Last Friday headed down to Auckland zoo of all places to see a music concert. Dub band Katchafire this week – Phoenix Foundation a few weeks ago. Makes a good setting – just take a picnic, sit on the grass and enjoy the music, or have a wonder around the animals.
