« More Bond 48 Hours »

1 Year

So, one whole year on from me first arriving in New Zealand. The time has past quick – but a lot has happened in these 12 months.

Click back to this time last year on happy, and I was getting to know the guys and the store. I’ve chosen not to air what happened with the store and myself.

It didn’t work out.

Since then the store has closed down. Although part of me is still slightly bitter about how I was treated, it’s opened my eyes, taught me a valuable lesson and allowed me to work for bunkermedia, something I’m very grateful for.

I was told that “I would regret” leaving the store (although I was never under paid employment anyway).

Now, Bunker is taking over the old store, and turning it into our new studio. It’s a pretty odd feeling stepping back into a room I never thought I would again, the place I first came to from stepping off the plane, and now claiming it back.

Karma?

I was also sent this today in response for my claim for being a skilled migrant:

Selected from the Pool

A group of us are celebrating the anniversary this weekend and going for an Indian.

sure has gone quick. I’ve saved the last text you sent me before you were boarding the plane! It reads:

“About to board! All the best bro. Hope your exam went well. Singapore here I come! See you in New Zealand”
