For Pops…
There’s some very cool cars in New Zealand (lots of US 60s-70s muscle cars), and some really crap ones (bad boy-racer max-power jobs)
But this takes the top prize for me, a Citroën DS

yes! big frog eyes large rear, big nose still running ( crawling ) slow acceleration noisy exhaust ( smelly at times ) – cant see where the comparison is!! Does NZ produce cars are are they just like GB all german and japanese?
How are you getting on with your veggy diet still eating vegetarian lamb chops? Any good Italian aspressos? What about the music? Crowded House were NZs. Have they got a national football team or are they like Scotland who have given up all kind of sports appart from drinking – no thats a serious business! Keep up the good work with the photos and comments. When will you be moving into your flat? Also lets know what you want for your birthday, OK! tara for now take care – BIG DADDY.
Hey Pops,
Yep your spot on, most of the cars are either japan or german. All imports from Japan. Round Parnell all the cars are either BMWs or one step up a Porsche. There are a few Astons about though…
Holdens are popular out here, OZ cars. They make poweful v8s and put them in the ugliest salons and pick-ups.
The standard of Coffee here is far better than the UK. One of the guys from Crowded house owns a cafe named Alphabet which is just down Parnell Road.
Rugby rules here. They have no interest in UK Rugby, but only when they are playing them at an international level.
James used to play for the NZ football youth team in Goal. Football has more limelight at the moment due to the World Cup are number of Europeans in the Country.
Flat on Monday, hopefully! I’ll give you a ring soon pops.
