My husband and I just visited the Milford Sound, and didn't have as good of an experience as you had. I blame the penguins. If we would have seen some penguins, I think we would have been more impressed. Any way, we are backpacking around the world for the next year or two. And we are currently living in New Zealand. Feel free to check out our travel blog, www.nomadbackpackers.com and give us advice on where to go...or not go. We are thinking about avoiding Queenstown because we have heard so many bad things.
