Nightshift

(thanks to Dylan for photo)

So yeah, my Easter consisted of working on new titles / identities for three different C4 shows. Late ones too. Due tomorrow, so I’m burning the midnight oil to get it ready. Just watched a load of Saul Bass titles so I’m hyped anyways.

One advantage of working at silly o’clock is I get to see the sunrise on my walk home through the domain park. Wish I had a camera on me to share it with you. I think the one thing about New Zealand that stands out more than any other is the vividness of the colours in the sky. At 6am it turned the colours of Neapolitan ice cream.

Now that I’ve still no camera – of course photo updates are becoming tricky, unless i dig into the NZ Tour photos (the DVDs should be on their way to the UK as soon as, I promise), so I’m toying with the idea of turing happy into more thoughts/woes/ideas diary while I’m busy with work. Tricky one, as it’s open to all to read…

Moved into the new flat with Jaxin and Amber. I do miss the view, and the 45 minute walk or 1 hour (!) bus ride to work is a killer. Have to get a bike I think. Plans at the moment – try and pay off the NZ Tour, save up for a little trip to Melbourne (might be part of a bigger plan), and to try and get some snowboarding done when the snow returns. The Sun is still holding in there.
